Default Cam swap started

Started my cam swap yesterday. Just wanted to post a few pictures of the process. Install isn't done yet as we figured out the smoke in my exhaust problem was coming from some bad valve stem seals in the heads and I didn't have them ordered. So gonna take an extra day or so to finish but I'm glad I've found the problem I've been having.

Here is the installer Mike. Standing in the engine bay


AC pulley was just hanging in this pic. It is supported right now.

I've got plenty of more pics but I just wanted to throw a couple up so you guys could see. Can't wait for this to be done!

I'm using the 6.1L exhaust valve springs, if that's what you mean?

Best of luck.
A lot of people are off 1 tooth when reinstalling the cam sprocket and chain.
Take a picture make some marks,zip tie to sprocket, do whatever you have to,make sure you dont fck it up.So easy to mess up.
Been there done it.

I can't wait until closer to the end of my powertrain warranty to do a cam swap on my new rig. I had one on my previous hemi that I traded in and the power gains are insane!

I talked with the guys at Inertia extensively before I purchased my cam and they said the Crazy Jay Plus would be the best for what I am looking for and the mods I have.

I trust my installer Mike in making sure that everything is put in properly. HE let me help out with what I could, but I stayed out of his way for the most part and just handed him things and held stuff out of the way. The cam is installed right now but because of my valve stem seal issue the heads haven't been finished. I'll be getting the seals to him tonight so that the valve springs can go in and then everything can begin to be put back on.

I've got a few other goodies going on with the cam too
