It definitely sounds like your voltage regulator. Most places sell re-manufactured alternators these days, so it's possible that you got a bad one. If you do replace it, go with the 120 amp alternator. They are bigger and tougher. Good luck at tech school. Keep us posted and let us know if you need anything else.
