Question 2.5 or 3 out ???

So this forum has me convinced I need a cat back exhaust system for my truck. All my research has me down to Magnaflow or Corsa. Magnaflow is 2.5 inch x 2 out of the muffler, Corsa is 3 inch x 2 out. Which is better? Stock is 2.5 right? I assume back pressure will change with 3 inch. Is that good or bad? Why? And what Y pipe would be best for each of those choices? Thanks for your help!

for cat-backs I would recommend 2.5 since you are getting rid of so much of your back pressure already. my 04 has 2 cats anyway (one from each manifold) so it makes more sense to go the true dual route for cat backs. not sure on the later models though. Kits are expensive, a good muffler shop can build a cat-back exhaust for much cheaper from stainless. just my 2 cents.
