Really? How did you overcome the computer controlled "lag" with practice?

How did you get it to work?

I would like to know also. No matter how fast I push/release the horn button, the horn sounds for a programmed minimal time period. I'm guessing here but I would say minimal horn on time is around 500 milliseconds.

Very nice Asur, my horn doesn't work like it should. If I press it on the side it will go out. I have to keep pressing it in the same spot to get it to work again, what a pain in the azz...... They should have fixed this problem by now......

Jeez i am glad im not the only one driving around doing practice honks!

I REALLY do not like this computer controlled horn. I have found myself in some dicey situations where i hit the horn and nothing happened. Now THAT seems to be a pretty real legal liability, unlike entering an address on the nav system when driving. (ok, let me pull off the highway on the shoulder to enter an address while everyone flies by at 80mph… Yeah that seems safe)

Stupid horn.

Battery…wire…button…wire…horn…wire…ground. - Not so tough…

On the first beep (if you are beeping twice) you have to hold down a little longer. Once you get the first beep there really isn't any lag on the second beep.

Speaking of the horn, my 1500's horn is incredibly loud IN the cab. Does anyone else feel like it's blowing the horn from right behind the dashboard? I've never experienced a horn like this.

I use my horn readily, and while it sounds fine, it's giggle-inducingly loud whenever I give a horn blow in traffic.
