Question Fog Light Insert Removal????

I have a 97 Ram SLT without fog lights. I want to remove the gray fog light inserts without removing the bumper. So far the only way to remove them is to cut them out with a razor knife. Any help would be useful.

KingofDomain will become famous soon enough

I have also heard of using a Dremel Rotary Tool also works very well. With the right attachment it should be fairly easy, of course with a steady hand lol...... Good luck to ya.....

I recently installed factory style fogs on my 95 Laramie SLT. Taking out those old inserts with the smaller opening and putting in the correct ones for the lights.

Unfortunately you have to cut them out or remove the bumper from the mounts to release them. They are held in by tabs along the edges that you cannot otherwise see and the mounts trap them between the round and elongated openings.
