Default Truck Bed!

Well dropped my new truck (1231 miles) off today to have the bed ailigned to the cab/frame as well as the bumper. There looking at a couple of other minor things. Radio has been good no quirks there. Truck should be ready for pick up some time tomorrow.

sorry for the ignorance here but how would I know whether I would need all this aligned as well? Does the truck not ride straight? Is it visibly mis-aligned?

seems to be a common problem with the 2013s.

Multiple people on here have complained about the bed being misaligned.

From what Ive gathered it's visibly noticeable and just annoying. I don't think it affects the ride at all, but when looking at your brand new truck and you have and extra inch of cab on one side and not on the other, it's disgruntling

You should be able to tell by just a visual reference if your bed is misaligned.

A once over from various angles and it should be obvious.

Took my 2013 Laramie to dealer on Monday. They had truck for 6 hrs, they called and said after loosening bolts they could only get the bed to move 1/8 of an inch and that they would need the truck for 3 days to completely remove bed and elongate bolt holes to get it to properly line up. I really didn't want them making holes any bigger than factory specs. Anyone have this procedure done?

I got mine back today and was not happy with the work they so i crawled under my truck and loosened the bolts myself and aligned it more. My dealer told me they may have to elongate the holes also but they did not happen. When looking around under truck even if they did makes holes bigger that would of done shit because the box is channelled over the frame rails which would mean they have to cut the box also and thats not happening. I did a better job in my driveway in 1 hour than bobyshop did in 4 hours
