I bought my Bilstein 46mm front shocks at a 4 wheel parts store & walked them over to a alignment shop, where they were putting on new brake pads

they supplied the brake pads, turned all 4 disc brakes, rotated the tires for $472 for parts, machining, & labor

when i added the front shocks, they charged me another $60 to install the front shocks
the front shocks themselves cost about $140
when the rear shocks come in, they will cost about the same $140 & will cost me about 1/2 hour labor to install at the same alignment shop
$280 for all 4 shocks
$120 labor to install
------------------
$400 total for shocks

it looked like they
pulled the front tire(s)
take the nut off of the top of the shocks
2 bolts at the bottom of each
drop out the shock(s)
assemble new shock(s) if needed
bolt in the bottom of the shock(s)
put the nut on the top of the shock(s)
