Default Bully Dog Update A025

Just FYI.....this seems to be the best update yet. My truck has always felt pretty quick but now it feels really good! Quicker throttle response and really throws me into the seat now!

Does these updated tunes come through the "Update Client"? How did you find out and get yours? I sent BD an email last night to send me the latest tune. I went through the update client first but after updating it still says I'm running A019. Thanks for the info.

Yeah I did. Just got back from the test drive, even though it takes a couple days for it to really get adjusted, it definitely has more power and acceleration. Also holds 1st and 2nd gear longer during normal driving. One thing I noticed though, down I don't have a trans. temp. reading, just says "0". If you don't care check yours. I'm with you though, by far the best update yet!!

Question! I just update the bully dog 40430 to A025 from A022. Do I have to put the RAM back to stock before I install the new software in.
Thanks.

You needed to put it back to stock before you updated the programmer. I have a feeling it didn't take.

After updating your programmer and while it's still hooked to the computer, go to the menu, then scroll down to "show settings" that'll tell you the version and tune you have.

ive never returned mine to stock when doing updates. I just update my tuner sd card from my laptop and then reinstall it in the BD, then my truck, and load the tune. Devildog....I haven't looked at the trans temp setting on the BD as I have that in my EVIC screen. If I can remember, I'll look at it on the BD and see what it says.

Thanks ttredraider78
So what you are saying is just update the tuner sd card from my laptop and then reinstall it in the BD, then my truck, and load the tune by pushing the install download button on the BD. And doing this that way it will just over right the tune of A022 already install.Does that mean lest flashing to the ECM that way! just a guess LOL.
Thanks.
