Default Uconnect Update 13.48.3 is available

Uconnect Update 13.48.3 is available on the chrysler uconnect update site. It was issued today.

I just downloaded it and it was very fast. I have not installed it, nor do i have a list of updates that this includes.

Hopefully it improves the GPS touchscreen entry functions.

Chris

can't seem to get the download started. I can update the installer software, but it doesn't move past it. Had no issues on the last update, but nothing now. huh...anyone else trying?

Default Use Safari

I can only get this to download with the Safari Browser. It does not work for me with IE or Firefox. Hope that helps.

I used Chrome. You have to go all the way through the tutorial and then it downloads.

Another release fubar I think. Just off the phone with uconnect and they are having trouble with it too. From my end it doesn't work with Firefox or explorer.

Might end up having to grab one off the net again or waiting until the dealer can get it (no certainty they can download it either).

One thing to try--at least with explorer--is to change some settings. The thought here is things are working but standard security precautions in browsers are halting it from going through.

I was told one person had luck with this during the LAST flash update (not this new one)--in explorer, go to Tools, Compatibility View Settings, and add chrysler.com. Alternatively you can try to add the akamai website url when that pops up for you to see.

From talking with uconnect there are a number of positive fixes in this version. Those of you with navigation issues might see some relief. For me, the problem if the truck defaulting to settings and not saving the ones you had on when you shut it off might be fixed. This includes speaker settings, fan settings etc.

One other thing--I verified the way it supposed to work is that as soon as the downloader akamai software appears to successfully download and you click close--the download of the .iso file should begin automatically.

It doesn't for me in either firefox or explorer.

OK I got it to work in explorer finally by adding chrysler.com, driveuconnect.com, and akamai.com to compatibility view, then rebooting. It was not working due to the browser security issues I mentioned. Have not installed it yet. There was no text file in the download that tells you what it is changing....

Can someone post a link to download the actual update file? Uconnect had me download some Akamai installer thing and it did nothing. If someone could host the file for download, it would be much appreciated.
