I concur it is really cool.

I'm glad I didn't have to look at me because I was probably watching it with a stupid smile on my face.

I wonder how many hours he has into it.

It even has real V-8 sound to it,once he had it running i never quit laughing.

I have a machinist friend who has a working model of a steam engine on his desk.
The old chap never kept track of the hours it took him to build it,but he said it took him about 3 years of part time work to mill it out.
It's quite a bit bigger then this though,so there must be quite a few hours of labour in this one.

I couldn't imagine the size of some of it's internal parts, the guys eyes must be phenomial, lol.

Couldn't agree more. I want to tear it down and see all of the parts! How did he build the valve train? Cam to lifter to push-rod to rocker to valve? THAT would be some machining!

I just watched both those videos on YouTube yesterday afternoon. Quite a coincidence!

I agree those things are so awesome. I was just grinning while watching them thinking "I need one!"

These guys do a bunch of small motors too

I'm impressed with these little engines, especially when you factor in the amount of time it must take to build one

that's awesome...while the block, pistons and rods would be fairly straight forward, Id like to see the cam shaft and the distributor. cutting the distrib gear musta been a trick, and figuring out the lobes on the cam.
