Default 8.4 AN v13.48.3 still has has Zombie input changes!

So I updated my RA4 unit, with the current firmware, in the hopes that it would fix my fader selection and the input changing to Aux on it's own... It didn't fix either! In fact, when I check the fader setting now, the balance and fader are both off. The balance is set more towards the drivers side and the fader is further rear then what I had set... It goes to this setting on every restart!!

I had this head unit!!! Buyers beware!!

I also was hoping they fixed the fader control. I have to change it every time I restart. I wish they could get it right.

They must not check the updates that are putout.

Hi guys. With the uconnect AN are there any charges. What is this Uconnect access fee? I thought that since I purchased the truck with Nav there would be no othe fees. Truck is still on order.

You get a year of service free with the RA4 unit.. Afterwards, I have no idea... I've heard $20/month.. That's to steep for me... especially since it's so buggy and about all I can do is lock/unlock and remote start, with it...

And its not like the remote start feature works very well to begin with. I dont even use mine. Will NOT be paying the $20 for Uconnect service when my trial year runs out.

I was wondering why the setup would try to switch to AUX on its own while driving and listening to XM Radio. Geeze another thing wrong with this new truck of mine on top of the horrible dead fish smell. Guess I will check the fader as well see if that is jacked too already irritated with everything else

You would think they would notice these problems during testing.

No issues with my balance/fade until I installed the v52 update, then my presets would change after every ignition cycle. The v3 update fixed what the v52 messed up. Fortunately my presets are now maintained... for now. Waaaaaaay too many people are having issues with these uConnect updates... Further R&D needs to be exercised before releasing this malware.

it's 6 months free with the RA3. the only practical use I can find for the unconnect remote start or door lock/unlock is when I am hunting I can lock my keys in the truck and not have to worry about losing them in the woods... unless I'm in a place with no reception, then I'm screwed. but I have a key hidden so I'm not. There's no practical use for this.
