Default Custom take on Moroso catch can

Hornet asked to shar e apic of his wicked catch can install for ya.
It's a Moroso can with a bunch of mods to appear factory. It's looks hella nice, and like something RAM would do from the factory.
Hornet- please chime in and tell us all the mods you did to this baby!

It's mounted pretty far away… I wouldn't want to run such long hoses or have the hoses running up from below the catch can…

Thanks K for posting the pics.

It's not as far away as it looks Brad.
The one hose is roughly the same length as the short hose on the Hemi, and the other hose is quite a bit shorter then the long hose on the Hemi.
I cut and swiveled the factory PCV line, which made a world of differance in the hose lengths.
They're 1/2" lines so puddling shouldn't be a problem

It is higher then i wanted, but so far it doesn't seem to have any affect on it's operation.
My theory being there's probably at least 20 inches of vaccum in the system, and the can is quite a bit less then that in height above the valve cover or PCV inlet in the manifold,so hopefully it shouldn't give any problems.
Theoritically it's only sucking mist,not liquid,lol.
Rick

Good point about it sucking mist and not liquid, Hornet. It's easy to forget that when you see how full the catch can gets. The install looks really good by the way.

Thanks Brad.

BTW: my wife likes your screen name, lol.

I wanted to make it blend in as much as possible and look sorta factory.

The semi-gloss paint is a touch off Dodges semi-gloss and the hose covering and shrink tubing sealing the covering are as close to the covering Dodge uses that i could find

Rick
