I've got almost 6,000 miles on my 2014. I've had the smell ever since around 3,000 miles.

I live in South Florida, but do a lot of hunting in Georgia (just south of Atlanta). Prior to my trip up there back around early to mid November, I did not have the smell. It got pretty cold (to me at least - about 20 degrees) while I was there. I only drove my truck once or twice in about 10 days. It has smelled bad ever since that trip. I don't know if the smell just "kicked in" at that mileage, or if the cold weather had something to do with starting it off.

So far this problem seems to be only affecting quad and crew cabs...

22% of poll respondants, my guess is that overall thiis probably 5% or less of Rams produced. Fingers crossed my 2014 does not end up with the issue. Once I get it and put a few miles on it I will cast my vote.

The only smell I get it a faint "break-in" odor, like a combination of new paint baking, fogging oil burning off, or the smell you'd get when welding mild steel. Never noticed in-cab. Truck built 6/1/13, Warren.

Hopefully somebody at Warren will rectify the problem at their factory before more trucks get affected.
