That looks like a mess. Did it mess up your paint? I want to rustproof mine when I get it and was thinking about Krown.

It's safe on paint. Just don't leave it there because it gets sticky and will trap mud and dirt in it. I'm going to be washing my truck tomorrow to get all the extra drip stuff off.

Awesome. I am going to go right from the dealership to the Krown store! By the way, your truck looks awesome!

One last question...have you heard anything about rusting after they drilled holes in the truck? Can they do this through the factory holes? Drilling holes in the truck leaves me a little leary of rust proofing. Maybe a little counterintuitive.

Krown does drill holes to access points where there is no other access.

in all the vehicles ive krown'd, they always plugged the holes with plastic caps and a lithium grease, and i never say any rust at the new holes, or anywhere on the vehicle for that fact.

Yes, they drilled holes... Three in each frame of the doors and two in the doors. They capped each of the holes with plastic overs. Oh and one in the tailgate.
They sprayed in every available hole... Even into the side steps.
I am just leaving now to go to a detailer... for $25 they're going to wash and detail the outside of the truck including tires and rims. My back thinks it's worth the money. If they do a good job, they'll have my business in the future too. LOL

Wow, what a good job the guys did at Divo Auto. $25 and they washed the whole truck and hand dried it. No more Krown drippings all over it.
I think I will be taking my baby back there again!

Just an update... My truck dripped for over three weeks. Especially bad from the hood just above the headlights. May have sprayed a bit too much into the hood, I'm thinking.

But it appears to be done now. Will definitely continue to use Krown in the years to come!

[QUOTE=SShadow1974;1371399]Here are some pics of the drip...

They didn't seriously apply the coating to your plastic bed liner did they. Or is that a spray in liner (that also wouldn't need spraying). Looks saturated.
