Default Should I upgrade uConnect or not?

It's been a month since the uConnect upgrade was rolled out...I have been holding off on the upgrade because I haven't been having any issues with my current version so far. With this in mind, should I run the update or just continue to wait it out?

Unless you want the pandora or other apps I would have to say I wouldnt bother, I have no use for the apps so I went back to 13.38 whuch I had no problems with to keep the shuffle on between starts for my USB music.

I also found with 13.48 the sirius radio volume level would fade up and down while on the highway, almost like the NAV lady wanted to speak but had nothing to say. With 13.38 back in its fine.

I've had the pleasure of owning uconnect radios since 2009 so I'm used to them breaking things on some updates. The old 'dont fix what isnt broke' applies..

Yeah, I am on 13.38 also and have zero issues. I think I will wait until the next update and see what's new.

I'm not overly impressed with the update. It takes way too long for the apps to load. I've gone back to listening to Pandora directly from the Bluetooth on my phone. I may switch back to the earlier software. If the update gave us any other advantages, I'm not sure what they were.

Besides the Shuffle button issue I also noticed with the update Uconnect takes a lot longer finding the SD card when I start the truck up.

I'm not a fan of the new update either. On the next update, they need to get the "Shuffle" button activated on every start up and have it remember where it was when the truck was shut off. I don't want it to shuffle the songs on my USB stick every time I start the truck.

I am in the same boat as you, I have not updated since I purchased the truck because I have not had any issues. If it's not broken then why fix it.

I upgraded to the 13 38 43 I think from the 13 38 19. Neither version seems to have a working shuffle button

I don't care for any of the Uconnect services.
