Default Backup camera installed via dealer and only fuzzy screen

So I had the Mopar factory backup cam installed via dodge dealer in my 10 dodge ram 1500 with factory touch screen and it says check surroundings on the screen in reverse but just a fuzzy black screen they wanted more then 220$ for the way Ot sat with me running all the wires basically for them so I just picked it up. Any suggestions?

huh??

To begin to try and help, can you describe the fuzzy black screen? Is it totally black OR!! can you see ANY shadowing, or blurry image?

I can tell you mine sucks in the winter because it always gets covered in snow .. and all I see is a fuzzy grey screen

My '09 Parkview camera works perfectly
the one time that it didn't, it was because the connector at the tailgate was not plugged in correctly, the tailgate had been taking off to get damaged fixed.
It only read the usual check surroundings, then all i had was a black screen

There are connectors right at the camera, another at the bottom of the tailgate, another next to the spare tire near the frame, i am sure there is at least one more at the radio

My first post was horrible lol. I was in a hurry and wrote it real quick on my IPad. So my situation is this, I purchased the correct backup camera from mopar for my 2010 Ram 1500 Hemi quad cab, touchscreen radio from the factory. I had a local Ram dealer finish installing what I hadn't completed. I had finished installing the new tailgate handle and running the wires along frame where the other wires run, all the way to the front. I tied in the white and green wire into the F section white/red wire. They took it from there.

I told them I was not paying over there suggested price of 2 hours or 220$!!! So they installed it looked over all connects twice and that was there 2 hours worth of labor. The screen while in reverse says clearly check surroundings behind me but the screen if u look at it is a very dark black almost solid but u can see some static lines going through it.

Not sure where to go from here I am not paying the dealer even more cause they are dip shots and were very rude about the situation. Any help would be much appreciated.

Rechecked all the connections I did only leaving out the connection to the head unit that the Ram dealer did and still no luck. Having the camera replaced under warranty to see if it's a bad cam. If not I'm gonna be fighting the dealer to check there work. Keep you updated.

The wiring instructions have been known to be incorrect. I found that out when I checked for power prior to tapping into the wire they suggested and found it was the wrong one.

I searched for the correct wire with my test light and found the correct one. I cannot remember the color but what I was looking for was 12v when in reverse.
