Default 20's to 17's?

Got a job transfer today. Long story short I will have to be driving a lot more. It's not exactly good on fuel now but I don't drive it much. I will now be travelling 200k a day..yuk!
Long story short I was wondering if dumping the 20's and 33" MT's and going to a 17" wheel with AT's will make enough of difference in fuel saving to spend the money? How will it look with the leveling kit I have on now? Here's the set up I now. Thanks in advance for any input!

I did it. Not saving much on fuel but the tires themselves were almost $500 less that the 20's. I paid the same amount for rims and tires going to 17's as I would have buying 20 inch tires alone. So next time I save a bundle.

That looks way better than I thought. What size tire are you running?

I have 17"s on mine as well and chose them because I actually use my truck off pavement at the ranch and wanted more pneumatic between my wheel and the terrain. (I'm not a fan of large wheels with little height of actual tire... just imagine hitting a serious rock or curb and consider how much tire deflection is important to avoid tire bruise and wheel/rim damage.)

i am running stock 17's with a levelling kit. I like it. I may go to 285 70 17 tires when these ones are done.

Looks good.

The dealership thought I was crazy when I told them to swap my 20s for a set of 17" wheels when I bought the thing. It did get me a $500 discount which was nice. Best reason to switch to 17s is the cheaper tires, and for me since they would only be for my snow tires I wasn't going be paying the extra $450 for the 20" version of what I already had from my last truck.

First day I got it.. Had the stock 20's

And I sold the gangsta rims and got some truck tires and rims on it now and I love it.. Cheaper tires, smoother ride, and personally I think it looks a lot better. This is with my 285/70r17 duratracs

This is kinda a bad picture but this is when I first got the 17's still had the stock goodyears on the rims the 285's are a very nice change

One of the things I really like about the outdoorsman I ordered is that it came with the 17's and AT tires. I usually always have a set of 20's I run during the summertime, but this time I think I will leave it alone
