To the OP, I had the same ones u just bought on my 2011 ram with no issues. Definitely a good upgrade for the price. I had them on up until I traded the truck in a few months ago. On another forum, a member actually took apart those tails and compared them to the expensive Recon ones. They were EXACTLY the same all the way down to the motherboard on the inside. Only difference was the RECON name on them. So good choice in saving some money and getting these!

Do you have photos or a web link to a side by side comparison of the two, because all the ones I've seen look dim.

Thumbs up LED replacement tail light assemblies

I didn't see anything on the USA made ANSO replacement tail light assemblies. I ordered these for my 2007 Ram and should have them in a few more days.

I put them on a few days ago, they look great and are pretty bright. Build quality appears to be excellent, installed both in about 20 minutes, basically a Snap In fit, then tightened two Torx screws. They are smoked so they are darker than original, but the "Red" can still be seen even when turned off. I took some pics, will post later this afternoon....

Were they plug N play or did you have to splice wires? Did you need any resistors or anything?

Plug-N-Play all of the way..!! Just remove your Light assembly from the vehicle, then untwist the Back-Up light socket from the original, then twist it into the new unit, (Remove plastic tape over the backup light hole), then un-twist the old bulb assembly from the original tailight/stop light, remove old bulb, then insert the LED harness into the empty tail light/stop light socket, pay attention to matching the black colored wires to each piece, then twist the socket into the new housing, remount to vehicle (2 T-25 Torx inside the tailgate area) and there you go...

The "Phillips" brande LED's that are used in these are pretty bright...

Here is a video for the Spyder Brand, same concept. The Recon's are about $360.00 a pair, mine are $188.00 shipped.... they look the same inside and out.
