Default Bad Weekend

On Friday I decided to take the new truck (2 weeks old) down to Louisville and hang out with my good friend who just went through a divorce. I took a slightly different route to pick up some food that I knew would cheer him up.

When I got to Cincinnati, traffic was touch and go on the interstate (found out later there was a fairly bad accident a few miles ahead). We were crawling along when traffic stopped abruptly in front of me. I was able to stop, but wasn't so lucky with the car behind me. :-(

I guess it could have been worse. No one was injured.

Nothing tinted. Everything still stock. She wasn't going too fast. She tried to swerve around me into the berm, but didn't quite make it. If I would have thought to pull up 4 or 5 feet, I bet she would have missed me.

Just got done talking to all the insurance folks. She has Geico, and my dealer says they are fine to work with, so at least that should be all right. Going to be a couple of weeks before I get it appraised and in the shop.

I have always been afraid of something like this happening to me, sorry to hear about your truck. At least nobody was hurt.
