Default Best place to look for truck bed cap for 3rd gen ram

I been seriously tossing around the idea of getting a "camper shell" or truck cap for my truck. color matched of course, "patriot" blue.

its so hard to find used ones that are the same color. brand new ones are so expensive.

any tips?

a guy at my work has the same color truck as me with a cap. I might see if he's interested in parting with it! that would be perfect.

i love the open bed, i love my tool box. but i feel like i'd actually benefit from a cap. being able to leave my fishing stuff back there to go fish the next day, camping, etc. and if i have REALLY REALLY needed to haul something big. just take it off for a bit.

i used to not like the look of caps on stock trucks. but I do dig the look of them on leveled/lifted trucks with a good stance. makes them look like beefy SUVs! i dig it.

You could always buy a used one and take it to a body shop to have it painted. If you prep it yourself it will save you some money for the painting.

I was looking for a cap for my truck, talking with a new cap dealer they were saying by the time you buy a used one and paint it, you are pretty close to a new cap price without any warranties.
A local used cap dealer that I have no affiliation with.
