Of course i was being sarcastic ....

If you can replace your current Ram with a newer one & not lose to much money in the process, you should upgrade now
You would not want to be upside down on your financing

I got the truck for about 36 and put a huge chunk (about 13k down). I won't be upside down for sure. I have to to stay in the same price range. I would like to find a 2013 but I know that the 8 speed came out late in 2013 so it may be hard to find what I want used. The 2014 Outdoorsman was about the same price as the 2012 and it is still on the lot so I may check into that again. It just didn't have leather which is important to me. And the wife was not into the color though I am not sure I care...

And the other thing I discovered today (our first rainy day since I got the 2012) is that apparently the previous owner was a smoker. The truck has smelled great until it got all humid today. I am not a smoker and don't want to smell smoke in my truck.

Sounds to me like you've already got one foot in the new truck. I always think that if you regret a decision you have to live with for a long time, you're best rectifying it instead of always wondering what if. And you have some things in your favor. So I say go for it.

You already know what you have to do. If it bothers you this much already, then bump up. Or you stand to face off with 10 yrs of regret. At least thats my opinion if it were me. Your mileage will vary, for sure.

At the end of the day, for myself, it's worth a bit of extra OT along the way if that means I walk up to my ride with a HUGE grin; today and in ten years time..

Do it man…

If you're going to make payments for 48-60 months, you may as well be driving the truck that you really want. Because if you stay with your current truck you'll always wish you had upgraded when you had the chance.

It seems the loaner vehicle will intentionally always be an upgrade from what the customer is currently driving. It also seems we all always want something different, especially if it's an upgrade. I say give in to your temptation if it'll make you happy for 10 years. Though there's no guarantee you won't want something different after you get that one.

You can always get leather installed on any new truck that isn't equipped, it will cost over a 1,000 but if you really want it you can get that put into the loan. Its a Mopar accessory so it will be under warranty.
