I'm really surprised that my 2013 Bighorn came without rear window defrosters! I do have heated mirrors though Just curious if this is common...please hit the poll!

My 09 Bighorn does not have one, but I wish it did. I could be wrong, but I think if you have the power operated rear window, you can't have rear defrost. I could be wrong.. Just ask my wife!
I just recently installed one on my '13 express. I really feel like these trucks should come stock with it.
i have a rear defrost button, but don't have rear defrost. i believe my button only controls the mirror defrost.
My manual says I have defrost. The button is supposed to operate the heated mirrors and the rear defrost. I have the power slider window... The button for the rear defrost lights up. It has the same logo as the windshield defrost. Did someone lie to me? Do I really NOT have a rear defroster?
So far, the only time I would have used it (if I had it) was yesterday when fresh snow blew up from my bed and caked on the rear glass. I guess this wouldn't happen if I had a tonneau cover?
I was kinda bummed that mine didn't either. apparently you can't get them with the power rear window option?
living in MN I figured I was screwed with frost. but I got through the winter well, surprising me to no end, since my 06GMC frosted up the rear every stinking day in the winter.

Yep, got my truck today and my power sliding rear window does, indeed, also have the defroster.

I just looked at my sales sheet it says nothing about it. But I have used it.
So I went out to my truck and yes right below the front defrost button is a rear defrost button. and on the climate control screen in the 8.4 it has a rear defrost tab when selected the button lights up. I knew it had it Im surprised its not on the sales slip.
Keep in mind, It no longer has wires in the window. It is ducted.
Plus the button that used to look like a square with 3 wavy lines for mirror defrost is now the rear window defrost. the mirrors automatically defrost with the front window defrost selected. Man I hate change.:4-looney:
But with my Bighorn rear slider I have it for sure. your dealer is a smoke blower.:4-dontknow:

and it is the slider. Don't think they would change it on the Bighorn verus all the other trucks. Maybe yours is special.:doh:-
