Default 2014 Silverado and Sierra recalled for fires

Announced yesterday, the recall is for 4.3 and 5.3 trucks, not the 6.2 (I didn't know the 6.2 was out yet).

Just another reason to buy a Ram.

Come on, Dodge has had recalls also. As a matter of fact, I don't recall any other manufacturer not having had recalls either.

I didn't say that other manufacturers haven't had recalls and certainly didn't mean to imply it, I just thought that since it is automotive industry news it belonged here.

My friend who owns a 2014 Sierra hadn't heard of the recall until I brought it up-I certainly wanted to be sure he knew about it since it is a safety issue. I figured others here may have a similar situation.

I like Chevy, but the 2014 GM truck takes the trophy home for the ugliest truck/brick on the market. Sorry, I just can't stomach those ugly azz square inner fenders.
