Yo Nadz has a spectacular aura aboutYo Nadz has a spectacular aura about
Default The love/hate relationship of WHITE

We've had a pretty harsh winter so far here in St. Louis. Over 2 feet of snow and the plows have been running nonstop. Hand washed my truck for the first time in a few weeks today and JESUS look at all this fallout. It's EVERYWHERE!! I'm super OCD about a clean truck and this shit just pisses my off. Anyone have a secret for easy prevention/removal? I love white, but this is just ridiculous. I guess it's time to get out the clay bar and wax again =(

That is the downside of going white. The little rock chips will show themselves with the small rust dust. On dark vehicles or neutral colors like silver, it's a lot harder to notice it. These rust spots will happen on any rock chip beaten vehicle but just shows clearly on white. Like you said, a good claying, and then protecting once or twice a year should do the trick. Good luck and pics after you do the clay bud.

thats normal, and will come out with a clay bar like said, in the spring when the weather gets better every colour gets it you just only notice it on white and silver! It's called rail dust! This will explain it for you

We can trade my black for your white if you want?? I wish I had white... I clean my black truck in the summer and 5 mins later it's covered in dust and water marks.... I haven't even cleaned it this winter, it had been -20 for much of the winter since November and what's the point only to have it covered in shit again.

I had those spots on my white Sierra. Dealer said it was Rail rust on the paint from factory transportation. Alcohol swabs/pads took them off with ease.

Yeah I agree, dark colors are the worst, but do look great when detailed. White and silvers hide the dirt so much better.
