Default Belt squeal causes and tips

Hey all,
Picked up a squeal under the hood back in April. When I checked it out, the belt was missing some width. Noticed the strips wrapped around the fan clutch shaft. Replaced the belt, removed as much old belt as I could. 2 weeks later, same thing without the squeal. Replaced the belt again and one of the idler pulleys I believed was the cause of the squeal and belt loss. Wound up doing the belt one more time. The squeal has come and gone over the last several months. Couldn't pin it down. Didn't really have the funds to take it to a shop. This belt has also gotten thinner but I've just been driving it to and from work, not too worried about issues in town. Any ideas what could be eating the belts and making the squeal? Was thinking alternator or tensioner pulley, but started thinking power steering. Looks kind of wobbly but... Would this also put a drain on the engine during idle? Looking forward to your responses, thanks.

Have you tried a new tensioner?

Thought about that, haven't tried it yet. Second guessing myself I guess. Started making a low hum/ moan just this morning as well. Pretty sure something's reDy to give. The tensioner could cause the belt to walk enough to tear the edges then? Thanks
