Default Front bumper removal

hello everyone im wanting to take both bumpers off for color match or powder coating..the rear is no problem...but can someone explain how the front comes off..any info would be great..

Looks good when you get it matched.

There are several ways to remove it, most involve removing the front winch mounts, DONT DO THIS!

You need nothing more that some common hand tools and you can remove the bumper fairly easy.

1. Remove the grill, its not "necessary" but will allow you much more access.
2. Remove the wiring harness for the fog lights.
3. surrounding the front tow hooks are four bolts (arrows). The three red arrows are accessible from the bottom. The green will be accessible from the top with the grill removed.

By the way your truck looks sweet with the black bumpers.. mine is white and black..i want to do the bumpers black..thanks again..

Battle rattle are your bumpers painted or pwdercoated? Were the able to match the body color? The photos look as if they are matte black? What did it cost?

They are done in bedliner I sprayed myself. Good ole Rustoleum! If you take your time it actually comes out well.
