Default 2500 exhaust question

I have a 09' 2500 5.7 hemi 4x4. I have had trouble finding full exhaust and headers. Does anyone know if there is a company who makes them? I'm looking to offroad but it is a daily driver about 25 miles tops. I definitely want it to sound better but could Def use extra horsepower. Would a flowmaster be sufficient for sound? I doubt a muffler gives any horse power right? Also does the 2500 have the mds drone cap people talkabout? This is my first dodge and so far I love it. Thanks for your time guys. Sorry long post.

A catback unit from flowmaster or magna flow will give you the results you seek, also if they aren't loud enough (which a flow master can rattle windows) then you could always get a shotgun header... or depending on the state cut the muffler down, flowmaster actually will increase your power, magnaflow says they do but they are mainly for show.

Neither will increase your power by themselves.... Just go with whatever you think sounds best whether it be Magnaflow! Flowmaster, Gibsons, whatever..... And no the 2500's do not have MDS.

How is flowmaster going to increase power but magnaflow wont? Magnaflow is a straight through design allowing for increased airflow therefore better power. Flowmaster on the other hand is chambered so its pretty much a sound mod. Yes, flowmaster will flow better than stock but its still not a magnaflow. Either way neither is going to make a huge difference in power.

I think ARH makes longtube headers for the 2500 4th gen but I'm not 100% sure about that. Also, in general, flowmaster mufflers are louder but more raspy and magnaflows are quiter but more deeper rumble. This will all come down to the setup you have for it all as well.

I Have installed Corsa on my 2500 and love it. Has a very mean sound to it yet it has no drone on the highway, it is on the expensive side but it is worth every penny.
