Default dog cage or barrier in quad cab

I'm looking for a solution to keeping my 6 month old German shorthair pointer from jumping into the front of my truck! She's super hyper and can be a pain in the ass when I'm trying to drive . I ordered a "pet net" that hooks up to the handles behind the front seats and goes across the cab but she jumped over it in the first 30 seconds it was in the truck. Does anyone have a barrier or a use a crate that fits in the back of a quad cab? I'm thinking I may have to buy a cap and make her ride in the bed SK she doesn't make me crash !

Probably not going to be able to get a crate that fits her in the back of a quad cab. I barely got a Large Kennel in the back of my Nissan Titan Crew Cab (scraped the heck out of some interior pieces.)

I have two larger German Shepherds and will be getting a Leer topper for them like my last truck. Most convenient option for me in this ever changing Colorado weather.

Might take a look at these for a bit less than a new topper:

Those are nice cages and would work really good but I might just spend then extra 1500 and get a A.r.e overland cap and keep all my hunting gear dry.. nothing like sitting in a cold wet climber after it sat in the bed and got soaked

I have a camo protable kennel I put in my truck for my beagle and is big, got it at Gander Mountain. Here is something similar.

Here is one very similar to mine but mine is a full kennel not just a a-frame type like this one.

My lab rides in a crate in the bed without a cap.
He loves it because he knows he's going swimming.

Yeah, been thinking about a crate for those times where we've taken the dog out for a run or a swim so he doesn't get the inside of the truck messy.
Do you tie the crate down?
