Default Westin HDX Grille Guard

Anyone running one of these on their power wagon? I'd like to get one for my 12' PW. Dont know if it would mount up properly with the winch or block it or something like that . Any input would be helpful.

I have the Westin HDX on my '13 PW. Doesn't get in the way of the winch at all. Really simple to install; just bolts on behind the factory tow hooks and underneath/behind the bumper using the 4 supplied brackets and the supplied bolts. The only "modifying" you have to do is cut a couple notches in the plastic valance underneath your bumper. I just left mine off though, and don't even notice it's missing.

Thanks man. Looks real good. Is there any difference in my 12 and your 13 up front?

Not 100% sure, but from what I can tell the only changes upfront from 12-13 were all cosmetic (headlights, grill color options, etc.)

You'll be good. Here's a link to Westin's application chart for the HDX, and you can make sure you're ordering the right part number.

Can you retain the tow hooks? Or does this replace the hooks?
And is does this actually add protection, or is it more cosmetic?

Yes, you retain the tow hooks.
I haven't hit anything with it yet, but it's definitely thick enough and heavy enough to take a lot of punishment and provide a lot of protection. Makes other ones I've seen around town look small and flimsy.

Man I don't know. Just got off the phone with Westin and the tech guy said they won't work with the winch...
