Default Gun Safe / Lock box

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. I have the fold down arm rest with 3 cup holders so I can't do the console vault. I also have manual seats so ther is not much room under the driver seat. Anyone mount a small guns safe/ lock box or have a good idea of where to and what safe to use. i was trying to avoid just using the small safe with the cable and having it slide around.
Thanks,

I mounted one of the cable ones in my Flip down armrest on 2009. I have the cable around the seat frame and it is bolted down.

Microvault under the drivers seat. Few strips of the hook side of Velcro on the back. Doesn't budge.

I have my microvault behind the back seat. Flip up the seat, and there is plenty of room under the backrest. I ran the cable around the seat frame.

I ended up getting a stack on and mounting it inside my fold down armrest with a couple of screws.

That's pretty much what I did, except I also used the cable, just to be safe.

Does anyone know of any natural voids for a real slick set up?

Not sure what type of console you have, but when I installed my lockpick I found there to be a *lot* of spare room just below and rearward of where the dash meets the front of the console: (pic borrowed from another forum)
