Default After Market Back-Up Camera

I purchased a back-up camera on line from Costco. Instructions said it was a simple install. Yeah, right, if you have an electrical engineering degree from MIT.

Anybody have any experience with these things? The monitor is a little bigger than I expected and I am not quite sure where to position it. I have an appointment with Visions re installation. Visions assures me that my warranty won't be affected on the Ram or the camera.

Still a little apprehensive.

ghorn will become famous soon enough

It depends on which brand you bought. I installed a "Peak" that I purchased from Pep Boys and it was a snap to install. Hook the camera up to the backup light circuit using a snap-connector. Hook the monitor up to the hot-side of the aux power (cigar lighter) . Make certain to use the aux pwr by the driver which goes to sleep after you leave the car....not the constantly powered one by the passenger side.
