Default Installing Mopar Backup Camera Kit (82213752AB). How do you take BCM connector apart??

So, I've managed to install the new tailgate handle with camera, run the wire harness to the engine bay. I've also managed to connect the power and ground wire to the PDC (Power Distribution Center).

I will say getting the harness through the "nipple"(Step 39 on the Mopar instructions K6861692AB) that Dodge has graciously left; albeit too small, was a major PITA.

My "problem" is step 44, "Removing the housing to gain access to the terminal block". Does anyone have any clue as to how you take that apart? I think I understand it, but the amount of space to work in there makes it rather frustrating. Do you remove all the connectors from the BCM (Body Control Module [located directly behind the emergency brake, it's a while board with connectors])?

Other than that, I only need to route a harness from the new mirror, to where the BCM is, in order to link with the rest of the harness.

If it's the piece I'm thinking of...there are three points on the face of the plate you have to pull/pry in order to get the face plate off. then Once you put the new wires in, place the face plate back on and connect it.

I undid all of the connectors from the white block so that I could swing down the harness to get me some more room to work on them. There are two seperate wiring terminals blocks within the connector housing. There is one little tab on each terminal block that you can stick a small screw driver in to pry it out. I had a heck of a time getting the wiring terminals back into the cover.

I also had a heck of a time getting the wires though the nipple and had to make a slit in the nipple so that they would go though it.

The connector in step 40 plugs into the wiring harness that goes to the radio.

I don't know if this will help you at all

Using the aftermarket setup from Ramharness & i believe the display is on the radio & not the mirror

I ended up letting the dealership do those last two wires. They charged my about $50 CDN to program the computer with the backup camera, and about a half hours labor to install those two last wires.
