Default 2013 4.7 Enigine Upgrades!!!

ok you guys i need help. i bout a 2013 ram 1500 4.7 just over a year ago. i wanna get some major power out of this thing but i cant find anyone that makes anything for the newer 4.7 engines. so if you know of anything let me know!!! even if the older engine upgrades will fit on the new model i will try it. Now im not talking about cool air intakes and exaust or programmers. i wanna know about internal upgrades and supercherchers and so forth. throw what you got at me!!!

Buy a Hemi,lol.
What you'll spend on doing the engine internally,would get you along ways towards a Hemi.
Nitrous is your easiest upgrade,no bolt-on blowers as such for the last of the 4.7's.
A custom turbo set-up and the tuning that goes along with any blower set-up,will pay the differance on a Hemi.

The later 4.7's use differant heads,so there's no bolt-on headers or intakes from my research.
You could check with Nick at AirRam and see what he reconmends.
I've got a little over $3,000.00 into a 13 4.7 and it gained about 45 horses at the tires,in retrospect,it was only about another $2,000 to step into a Hemi,and that's what i should of done

Yeah the aftermarket support for the 4.7 isn't really there like it is for the Hemi. Most people who want to go whole hog start with the big engine. Nothing wrong with loving the one you're with though

Ok so on that not then. How easy is the HEMI swap. Will it just bolt up or is there some mods that have to be done?

Pretty tough, its been done before but it involves fabbing engine mounts and some other things. You can certainly do it if you want, hell I've seen a thread on another forum where a guy swapped a Hemi into a 2nd gen Ram, and if you really want to it'd make a good thread that you could get mad rep points for, but it definitely won't just bolt up.

The transmission will probably bolt up, but you'll probably need a new PCM/ECM or whatever. I'm sure you can find a thread somewhere on Google that will tell you everything you need to know.

Anybody who has ever done a Hemi swap,has got rid of the truck afterwards,from what i've gathered up
The Hemi is a bolt-in swap,that's the easy part.
Electrical will be your head-ache.
Save your money till you can swing a Hemi truck.
You'll spend as much or more making your original 4.7 truck as quick as a Hemi truck,whether you swap an engine in,or dump money into your 4.7.
Just trying to give you a realistic view on what you want to do.
You can buy brand new 2014 plain jane RCSB's with the Hemi up here for under $18,000,they're probably cheaper south of the border,that might be something to look into.
