Default Some Heat??

I have a 2014 1500 Bighorn 4X4 3.6, the heater seems to get warm but not near as hot as I think it should. I drive about 35 miles one way to work and in my 2011 1500 by the time I would reach 6 or 7 miles I would have to turn the heat down. On my new one I drive all the way to work and have the fan blowing on high and it just gets warm in the cab but never hot enough that I turn down the fan. I've checked the EVIC after about 7 miles of driving and it shows the water temp at 195 and oil temp at about 185. I'm at a loss as to why the heater doesn't get warmer? I'll probably try to get it scheduled in at the dealer to take a look sometime next week I just thought I would check in here to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue and what their fix may have been.

It really depends on what the ambient temp is. I think spec for the AC and heater are 20 degree over or below the outside ambient temp.

RogerRamJet, in most vehicles when the AC is set on max and recirculate they will cool at around 40-50 degrees and they heat will run a little over 100 degrees. At least this is typical with newer vehicles. I guess I need to get my old thermometer out and check what temp my heater is blowing at. It might just be that I'm getting older and takes me longer to warm up?
