Thumbs down -15f

My heater controls quit working on the coldest day here this year -15F the mode control on the right did not change air blowing out bottom heat ducts. the blend in the middle would not change to heat no matter what position in. that was a cold ride. The windshield would not defog and I then noticed the frost was on the inside. went in the house to warm up. called dealer and went outside to drive to dealer and ... all better. frustrating.

Ya it shifts fine in T-H mode. Think it was just looking for that sweet shifting spot and couldn't find 3rd like it wanted, so I had to force it to use it. -20*F doesn't help either.

It's been COLD this winter.... consistently <20C where I am. One morning .... Temp around -35C (NO windchill), I experienced the exact same issue- stuck in 4th, won't shift to automatic. I drove like that most of the morning until (guessing) tranny heated up- had to stop/start the truck and everything was fine except I had a "check engine" light. Called dealer --- said to "wait it out - should clear in a couple of days.". It cleared after 2-days and after I shifted from 4-auto to 2-wheel drive.....

Not sure which condition fixed the issue....
