You'll need to solder a resistor to the pins on the LED.

That depends on what bulbs are bought. Some have built-in resistors. I know that v-LEDs is about to release some bulbs that pull enough power to not trigger the bulb out notifications. In my case, I'll have to wire in the resistors myself unless I go with the new bulbs.

Here are a few before and after pics of some LED lights I swapped out inside my truck. I used 5000K bulbs. These are only the two interior lights. I didn't take photos of the exterior. I attempted to replace the footwell light on my front passenger side and the light that shines down on the cupholders in the overhead console, but they are not changeable.

Here's a pic I found of my old 2008 Toyota Tundra. Just shows you how much more bright the LED bulbs are compared to stock.

Not to be a pain... But pictures of the lights themselves really doesn't show an increase in brightness because of the glare... The pic that RandyW put up is a little better, but what I'd love to see is a pic from the vantage of Randyw's, but with the actual lights out of the picture, before the bulbs were changed and after the bulbs were changed. So just a pic of the dash area before and after.
If I ever get around to changing mine, I'll be sure to do this.

I posted the pictures of the light fixtures not to show brightness, but to show the actual color of light the bulbs put off. I hate the yellow tint of regular bulbs. That's what I was showing.

Have you found a Canadian source that sells these or did you get them from v-leds or superbrightleds. I know shipping from superbright is alot when they are shipped to Canada. I know shipping in the US is like 3-5 bucks but goes up to 20 bucks when coming to Canada.
