Default 2013 wheel skins

Anyone having their skins pitting? I wash my truck constantly cause of the salt on roads but I just noticed the pits.I would think dealer will replace under warranty. Thanks for any input.

Gosh I hope not, if I could keep my truck clean for more than a few minutes, I'll check.

I heard that they may do one warranty replacement per vehicle for corroded or pitting clad wheels. I'm just relaying something I read a few weeks ago...not sure if it is true or not.

They replaced all of mine. Mine werent pitted. They had little burrs sticking up on them that made it hard to wipe the wheels down with a rag.

i have an 04 grand cherokee limited with the wheel skins. was shocked the first time i washed the jeep and found they plastic. i have washed and waxed this jeep many, many times over the years but intentionally ignored the wheels other than just soap and water during the wash figuring i would replace them when they started looking like shitttt. after 10 years, i just went to the self car wash, and notice, they are just now starting to turn a darker color in some spots, a little pitting from 10 years o winter storm and salt. my point is, you may get a little pitting, but even with neglect, they hold up pretty well until you bed down and inspect them.

I bought the tire and wheel package. In there it says "Chrome" is exempted but wording is everything. On the big window sticker it says "Chrome Clad" I have a call into the finance manager but looks like I will make a trip in person. Let me know if they do anything for you. I have a 2013 Big Horn Crew Cab with 20" wheels.

As far as replacement take your truck back to the dealer and they should replace them for you with no issue.....
