Graygoose will become famous soon enough
Default 3rd gen QC versus 4th gen

Anyone know if the back seat and door sizes are similar on a 4th Gen Quad cab versus the older 3rd gens? Is legroom, etc the same?

I think the 4th gen QC is actually shorter then 3rd gen. Now this was at a dealer but he said it was 5" shorter for the back seat. Like I said this might have been him wanting me to look more at a Crew which I would if I was buying a new vehicle anyway.

They seem the same (I know people with both and I have a 4th gen QC).

DEFINITELY not a 5" difference. I'm pretty sure they are identical.

I think 4th gen crew cabs are roughly 5" longer (cab) than quad cabs. But their bed is shorter.

Sean, I didn't think it would be 5 inches as well. THhe QC door does look smaller on the 4th gen though I will measuer my 3rd gen when I get home today and see the length of the door.

Yea, the 5'7" bed and 6'4" bed, differences are in cab. But i rode in a buddies QC 3rd gen, and I'm 6'2", and it wasn't terrible....tolerable. Either one wont fit in my garage () but I'd sure like to gain cabin space for possible pasengers, yet retain my bedrug and bed cover.

I mean I wouldn't ride across the country in the back of the QC but I'm 6'4" and it's not bad. Hour or two trips aren't that bad. Has more room back there than most cars.

Yeah Sean didn't mean to sound like I was attacking you (not that a canuck would fight back ) just I don't think there's a difference and if there is it's not 5".
