Default aux switches

Looking into foot well lights and got thinking of different ways to wirer it up. My big question is are the additional spots on the dash beside the tow/haul, 4 way flasher, and 110v Plug button actually buttons.
Looks like they should be buttons but not sure. Is the wiring there and a tab or something need to be broke to activate the switch.
Not to sure. There's 3 or 4 additional spots so I would prefer to use them before adding toggle switches in a different spot.

Also wondering how other people wired up their lights. I'm thinking of finding the headlight switch so the lights come on with the dash lights, or putting it on a circuit from the cig lighter that only has power when the engine is running with its own switch or maybe with the dome light.
Again not sure.

To answer your question, No those are not buttons and they cannot be used. However, MOPAR does make an Aux switch panel that can be purchased and it fits in the Ram logo under your AC controls.

I would research the wiring schematics and splice them into the interior lights so they go on and off and fade when you open or close your doors (and for use with interior light switch). That would be the most practical way, and would look factory.

I've seen other threads on here talking about which wires you would need to use, and where to find them.
