Why did you switch? I think there is a slight difference depending on the muffler you chose.

The drone was driving me crazy but now that my 18 is broken -in there's no difference at all. All the difference is 4" of straight baffled pipe from the 14 to 18 if that because the 18 splits (dual out) inside the muffler at a shorter distance.
