that video is perfect, and it is 100% in 4wd without the gas on ...


Now I wonder if this is a programing change from locations ect... The two trucks I tested were 100%not in 4wd with the gas off. and many from the other site says theres were off and some said theres where on ... weird..

any local us trucks wanna test theres ?

The truck in the video works as it is supposed to. One rear and one front tire turning at idle in 4 low. I don't have ice to do this on but I have done it several times on dirt hills and I get the same result every time.

I am not going to do that on a paved surface unless someone is there to donate a new front axle if I break one.

I tried it in all combinations. 2H > 4L, 4H > 4L, 4Auto > 4L. The truck has to be slightly rolling in Neutral for it to shift to 4L smoothly.

Then idled it up, all the way up the hill twice before I uncovered the ice. The hill is about a 5% grade. In 2H it would just stop at the bottom of the hill and spin.

I will say this, 4L is sooo deeply geared with the 8-speed, I don't know when you would ever use it. And there's allot of backlash through the driveline when the tires do slip.

Do you not have the LSD rear?

no change here ....the trucks Ive tested all kick out .. test yours and find out ! so far only one guy has rose to the task.
