Default TLC bags in MN winter

Pulled my truck out of heated garage and about a hour later when I went for a short drive and noticed a rattle coming from the back of the truck. When I got home I looked under the truck and the air bags had pulled up of the bottom plates. What I think happened is the cold caused the bags to pull up so I pushed on the shrader valve to allow air in and the bags started to come down again. Anyone else have this happen ?

How much PSI do have in the bags?

TLC recommends 5 psi minimum without a load. They should be kept inflated to be in contact with the lower platform.

Also, you might try using nitrogen to inflate the bags in the cold.

My bags actually pull up into a collapsed state with no air, need to add air to push the bag towards the lower plate.

My truck rides smooth with 10 psi. I am using different tubing than what came with the original kit however. I used sprinkler system tubing from lowes. It is not rigid, you can actually squeeze it together. this eliminates the rough ride at all pressures. You only need to use this tubing from the airbags to the compressor. The tubing from the gauge can be the hard stuff. It cost me $8 for 100 feet of it, and works like a charm!
