Default Fox 2.0 shocks

Does anyone have these? I'm considering buying these for the rear so I can install my TGC .75 spacer and set my front Bilstein's at 2.8.

I've made about 100 calls and 4 purchases that had to be refunded because the rear Bilstein's are still on back-order everywhere with no scheduled date yet. I'm sick of searching for them so I'm changing it up.

Could anyone give me some incite into these shocks? Ride, quality, performance, whatever you know, good or bad. I really know nothing about them other than their description, and the only time I've ever seen them was on a Raptor or in The Fast and Furious

Fox is generally considered a step up from Bilstein. However, they are more expensive so most people go with the Bilsteins. After all they are Bilsteins. Fox is not nearly as large of a company so their products will cost more. About to pull the trigger on some 2.0's my self.

If there shock quality is the same as it is in the mountain biking and motocross world there will be no better shock on the market... but you will always pay a premium for them.

I agree, they look like they are about $40 more expensive than the Bilsteins. Sounds like they are very good though. I just wanted to make sure if I'm paying more for Fox that I'm getting at least the same quality or better than Bilstein!

If you dont want to wait for the Bilstien, ProComp has their ProRunner shocks which are a direct competitor (read as copy) of the Bilstiens. I am running them on my PW and have been pleasantly surprised by them. They are also priced a bit lower.

The Fox 2.0 is the best shock I have ever had. Way better then Bilstiens I had on before. And when I traded in my 2011 for the 2014 I also swapped the shocks over. They ride smooth and can handle anything. Paid 114 each. They come in different lenths for our rams I got the size up from stock since I have 1.5" lift coils.

Fox shocks are very good shocks, you can't really go wrong with them, we have many customers who run fox shocks on their BDS lift's and they love them much better than standard shocks. I have never had a chance to compare them to bilstein first hand but I would for sure say they are at minimum the same quality if not more.

I run them with my BDS suspension, in the rear. I wish I could head out to the desert and thrash them good and hard. It's killing me the more I build my truck up - to be bridled as much as civil driving permits!

I wanna fly like a peacock!

Bwahahaa ..

Get the Fox 2.0's - you will not be disappointed man.

Cheers,

Var

Definitely worth buying! I have these installed on my 2010 Ram 1500 Laramie, and I love em! Bought them off eshocks.com, front and rear. Paid $1200 shipped to Alberta, I think I will always go with Fox Shox for now on!
