Do you have a manual or electronic shifter?

1) Try to shift it while rolling slowly (1-2 mph) and see if that helps.

2) Crawl underneath and see if the shift lever on the transfer case is frozen inside a big chunk of ice/snow.

does the shifter move freely or will it not move? Definitely check to make sure it's not frozen in a block of ice under there. If it moves freely you may have lost the bushing that holds the linkage on the t case, mine is gone and I have a zip tie holding the linkage together (not the most failsafe way to do it but it has held up for a year and a half)

I have 2002 with manual shift. I had the same problem as AFMEDIC with the bushings failing on the linkage between the shift lever and the transfer case. First the one at the transfer case then the one on the other end. I too have "fixed" them after finding out that just the bushings are NOT available; you have to replace too much for me. It's been probably 3 yrs since the first failure. So far, so good.

I'm trying to find the link to the party number for the bushing. It is for something else on the truck but it is the identical bushing that they used on the linkage. I'll post the part number as soon as I find it

52105555-AA, "ROD GEAR SHIFT", $18.00
68078974-AA, "GROMMET NONE", $11.42

The top one is the shifter bushing that mopar lists. The bottom one is the same bushing but cheaper. Google the part numbers and you may find them cheaper.
