Default initial thoughts on towing 24' enclosed with my 2010 1500

I just picked this truck up a few weeks ago and had to take a few cars down to the Philly Auto show this morning. The truck pulls great but the rear suspension is soft even with the load bars on. I'm most likely going to grab a set of airbags for the rear to help that out. Other than that, a tuner and intake should help with larger hills. Also have a set of towing mirrors on the way. Very happy so far! Can't wait for race season to get here!

Always things you can do to make a 1500 tow better. Heavier shocks, airbags, etc. I run Rancho 9000's cranked to the max and Mag Hytec diff and trans pans will give 1 more qt capacity to keep everything cool. I run a Sonnax line pressure booster too. My trailer is over 10,000 lbs, a 32' fifth wheel with 2 slide outs. It tows great. I know the new trucks are sprung more for comfort, but that's easily fixed.

I wish! I have friends who live good lives...I live vicariously through them!

I'll check TLC out! Thanks for the name.

I completely agree. I'm going to start reading up on what works well with these trucks. I figure a good bag setup will do the trick. As for shocks, I thought I read the TRX4 has some heavier duty shocks as compared to the rest of the 1500s. I can't imagine how soft those are. I'll check out that Sonnax booster...I like the idea.
