Default Different offset on rear then front?

I took some measurements tonight to figure out offset. I measured from the lip of my rim to the face of the oem fender flare on my 2013 laramie. I used a level and measuring tape to get accurate results. I noticed my front passenger side was 1". Front driver side was 1.25". Both rears were 1.75". Didn't know I would get such different results. I know some people with cars order different offset rims for the back compared to the front. Does anyone do this? The 1/4" doesn't seem like much but to look down the passenger side and see 3/4" difference when I order rims and tires to poke a little, seems extreme. Is this normal? Anyone else go through this? Thanks all

Normal... and I would keep the same offset on all four corners. Unusually the rear wheel base is about a .25" narrower than the front...

Yep, it's normal for the front of trucks to have a slightly wider track width than the rear. Using wheels with different offsets for the front and rear would make doing rotations a pain. I once had a WS6 Trans Am that came stock with different front and rear offsets. The tires had to be unmounted and remounted for rotations. A pain in the butt and expensive!
