Default Aries Bull Bar on '14 Sport w/KC SlimLites

I recently installed an Aries Stealth Black Bull Bar (Part# ARI-B35-5005-3) on my '14 Sport. A simple "bolt-on" installation, however, you have to cut out two slots into the lower bumper cover... or you have the option to just remove it. I think it looks better on...

It is a heavy duty and well constructed bull bar. It has 3" stainless steel tubing with hi-gloss black powdercoat finish. Supposedly the brackets and hardware passed a 1000 hour salt spray test. It also has a brushed 304 stainless steel skid plate, which I painted matte black/clear coat to match my Fuel Wheels and Mopar Side Steps.

While I would never pull or push anything with this bull bar, it is VERY solid. It is attached to the frame with heavy duty brackets and hardware at 3 separate locations on each side. Essentially, it is attached similar to the OEM tow hooks (same fastening points).

I purchased the bull bar for the sole purpose of adding driving lights. I preferred it over a light bar. I like its low profile and it fits tightly against the bumper.

Lastly, I added KC 100w HiLIGHTS SlimLite Driving Lights (Part# KC-124). Very nice set-up for the money and it's basically "plug-and-play." I also painted the white "KC" letters on the covers black for a better match.

I can post some pics later at night with the lights on if anyone is interested.

Looks great! Can you take a picture where you had to cut?
Thanks! Ready to get on myself, just wish I didn't have to cut. I suppose it is just plastic and can be replaced if it was ever taken off right ?
Thanks

Thanks. You can see the cut in pic#6 where the bracket(s) comes through the lower air dam, which cost about $65 if you ever wanted to replace it. I didn't want to cut it either, but it really wasn't too bad, and it can be easily replaced if necessary.

I went with the Aries as well and love it. I will also be adding lights which I am looking into having them powder coated to match body color along with the skid plate. I am also adding a Go-Rhino light bar to the bed which will have 4 powder coated lights mounted to it.
