Default need some wiring help

I have a 97 ram 1500 with 5.9l

im installing an air/fuel gauge

I need to know the location and color of the o2 signal wire.
the instructions say it needs to be installed before the o2 connector. im looking for the closest location maybe at the pcm.

also what wire at the headlight switch is the dash lights?

Thanks

I have a Ram 97 FSM. I would be happy to get you that info this weekend. Do you mean the up-stream, or down-stream O2?

Default meter wiring

use a voltmeter and test for a wire that has variable voltage when running , its pretty low and it should bounce around. don't tap into the constant voltage that is for the heater and supply voltage. . I ran mine under my door sill plate with a grommet and over the tranny and then tapped into my headlight switch for lighting. its night time here in cali but will look at wire colors and get back.
