Default Have mine mounted

The mount showed up in less than a week and I installed it. I used it to mount the face for my ham radio. I modified the mount slightly and it worked great.

Yes... I would say that's a modification. Looks cool... Had to take a second look at that one. Wish I would have known about the 90 degree angle, I've might have put a little flex additive in the paint.
That's pretty wild. A vise I hope?

Thanks folks! Yes I did use a vise. I put it in the vise and bent it over by hand as I was afraid to damage it. After bending I match drilled two holes to mount the radio face. It works great. One of these days I am going to remove it and repaint the mount though. I think I may remove some of the mount that sticks out in front of the radio too. I didn't notice how dirty is way until I looked at the pictures. That's what I get for doing it in the dark.

Glad it worked for Ham Radio. Pretty cool the way you bent it. Just glad my weld held.

I see a third Goat Mount model being available for HAMs...

What I'd like to see is one with two platforms... Perhaps with the height offset between the two... I have a personal cell phone and a work cell phone that I'd love to be able to have both mounted there at the same time.

Clamping the mount in a vise so that the spot I wanted the bend to be was at the top edge of the vise jaws and then bending by hand instead of beating on it allowed me to not stress the weld. I do kind of wish the mount were a 1/2" lower for my use but it is ok as is. The mount is a great way for me to do what I needed to.

WELL..... I Do. Have been using my latest prototype for the past week. I'm using my GPS and a Radar Detector and it works great. Will take a few weeks to have them available on the website. Two phones will work as I had a pair of them mounted earlier tonight.
