Default Can someone help? Blown gasket?

I was under the truck yesterday trying to find the source of a squeak (no luck after an hour), but did notice this (picture attached - somewhat embarrassing - this is what an Indiana truck looks like after some rust, and then moving it to Texas to get a solid layer of dirt on everything!), and was hoping someone could help. This is a picture from under the passenger side looking up at the engine. Transfer case is at about 7:00 out of the picture if that helps with orientation. It looks to me like there is a screw hole in the black plastic piece above the wiring, which made me wonder if I've got a broken gasket that's slipping out of place?

I'm a complete beginner as it pertains to the engine itself, so honestly I'm not even sure what I'm looking at. It's very doubtful I'll be able to do the work myself if anything is wrong, but I'd really like somewhat of a diagnosis so I know what I'm getting into with repairs.

Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that's the head gasket youre looking at. Some gaskets have extra holes. Since I don't see any oil or coolant leaking out from there, and you don't report any running problems I wouldn't worry about it.
